Squad number history
Numbers worn — longest first
#35
4 seasons · Bayern Munich, Swansea City
Why #35?Sanches wore 85 at Benfica and asked for it again when he joined Swansea in 2017. The Premier League refused: its rules require squad numbers to run close to consecutively, and 85 would have been the highest ever worn in the competition. He took 35 instead, the number he had at Bayern.Source: skysports.com
